What started as Bridget’s vision has grown into a collaborative practice where dedicated therapists work together to support people facing anxiety, OCD and related difficulties.

Our Approach to Therapy
At Bridget Barnes Therapy, we draw primarily on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) alongside other evidence-based approaches, carefully tailored to your unique experience and goals. In addition to CBT, we integrate Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) where appropriate. This allows us to adapt therapy to suit not only the difficulties you’re experiencing, but also your personality, history and preferences.
